In January and April 2017, I was invited to submit works into an online exhibitions sponsored by the Bauhaus Prairie Art Gallery in Oklahoma. In each case, I submitted three pieces for the juried shows, and the works in the current exhibition will be on display through May 20, 2017. Many of the submitting artists did not make the cut, but I’m pleased to report that my work was on view in both.
An artist acquaintance reviewed my entire body of work. Here is her very gratifying comment: “It is rare to start with a completely career in later life especially with little or no training. From that aspect the body of work and the clothes are quite remarkable. I like your work very much.”
All of these artworks are available as fine art prints at the WordsandAbstracts shop on Etsy.com. All prints–whether 11 x 14 ($50) or 12 x 18 ($60)–are produced on a high-end digital press and printed on 100# crystal white vellum.
